Bio 

Fellow of the College of Neurologists of South Africa (FC Neurol) by peer review since 2008, Dr Dion Craig Opperman has extensive experience in neurology, with specific interests in Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, dystonia (including running a Botox clinic for dystonia), headache, epilepsy, and peripheral neurology (nerve conductions and EMG). He has participated in various clinical trials, including those for Alnitidan, Aricept, SP511, Lamictin, Elitriptan, Zomitriptan, and Topiramate (for migraine prophylaxis), as well as epilepsy and migraine trials. Dr Opperman is also a co-author of the guideline for the diagnosis and management of multiple sclerosis from a Southern African perspective, published in the South African Medical Journal.
