Dr Antoinette Miric is a Specialist Psychiatrist in Johannesburg with a particular interest in women's mental health care, anxiety and mood disorders. She works in close collaboration with other mental health care practitioners (psychologists/social workers) to provide holistic mental health care.
Her areas of interest include:
- Independent Medical Examinations / Independent Psychiatric Examinations requested by a third party.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (Adults)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder in Adults
- Group Psychotherapy
- All areas of women’s mental health including premenstrual disorders, psychological aspects of infertility, anxiety and depression in pregnancy /post partum /while breastfeeding and menopausal difficulties.
- Mood disorders (depression, postpartum depression, complicated grief, seasonal affective disorder, bipolar disorder I and II)
- Anxiety disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, social and performance anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder)
